There were some hungry penguins in our room today! We used tongs and Goldfish crackers to feed them. Each penguin had a corresponding number or number word to tell us how many fish they would eat.

Black and White Collage
The kids made a Black & White Collage using pieces of Construction paper and Contact paper. The Construction paper peels right off of the sticky paper, so they can make tons of different pictures!

Penguin Week!
We have been learning about Penguins for the last two weeks! With the "cold days" it has made it hard to fit in everything but here are some of our highlights!
The 4K kids were matching words to their beginning letter penguin.
Everyone enjoyed playing penguin hopscotch!
The kids learned that a penguin toboggans on his stomach to get from place to place. So the kids helped the penguin to the different letters of their friends' names.
Both classes agreed that the Macaroni Penguin is their favorite!

Soapy Water
This week our sensory bucket has soapy water. That's it. Simple, right? I just put some spoons, measuring cups, scoops and a bucket. They had tons of fun! The kids were making pies, cookies, soap mountains and soup. Endless possibilities!
